On the left side of the picture you can see a patch of wild ground-and a few yards away is a fox den. Wild foxes have lived at the cemetery for ages, and every spring one is sure to see a new family with kits roaming around. They are very used to people, and at times can be seen sitting on a hill watching people walk by. Other wildlife is common at Fairmount as well, including owls, bats, rabbits, snakes, and even deer. If your frontal lobes are sufficiently turned on when you spot them- they will communicate to you about alternative animal consciousness. The trees are also pretty interesting to listen to in this place- it's quiet enough to actually hear this kind of stuff.
